Description
I decided to drive the roads of Kissimmee Prairie Preserve state park in the evening to look for and photograph any snakes that were catching the last rays of the setting sun. Halfway up the drive I came across this young Eastern Cottonmouth sunning himself on the side of the road. After continuing up the road a safe distance, I got out of the car and was able to walk back to the snake and take a photo of him enjoying the sun. After taking the photos I got in the car and continued on to leave him be.
