I was birding on a pelagic trip off the coast when this Tropicbird flew right over head. As he circled the boat, I was able to take numerous pictures of him of which this turned out to be the best one. After circling the boat twice, he headed back out over the ocean, never to be seen again.
I am James Petersen and I have been birdwatching for over 5 years. I have used my vast experience of birdwatching to transition to photographing birds in their natural habitat and trying to show off each birds personalities. Aside from photographing birds, I also photograph nature and wild animals but have a focus on birds. All the animals and birds that I photograph are wild. Any animal I photograph I try to put as little stress on the animal as possible, if I sense or see that the animal knows that I am there and is not pleased by my presence than I leave the area.
