I was photographing the setting sun, and it was casting this pink hue onto the snow, so, I stamped out a heart in the snow and took a picture of it, capturing the pink hue, intending it to be a picture I can put up around valentines day.
I am James Petersen and I have been birdwatching for over 5 years. I have used my vast experience of birdwatching to transition to photographing birds in their natural habitat and trying to show off each birds personalities. Aside from photographing birds, I also photograph nature and wild animals but have a focus on birds. All the animals and birds that I photograph are wild. Any animal I photograph I try to put as little stress on the animal as possible, if I sense or see that the animal knows that I am there and is not pleased by my presence than I leave the area.
