Artist's Description
This is a Golden-crowned Kinglet. Golden-crowned Kinglets breed across much of northern north america and are a winter resident in much of the united states and canada.
This picture was taken in Orono, Maine while I was birding. I happened across a flock of chickadees and Kinglets. This bird happened to perch in an open area after a while of following him. Once I took the picture, I left the area so as not to stress the bird.
About James Petersen
I am James Petersen and I have been birdwatching for over 5 years. I have used my vast experience of birdwatching to transition to photographing birds in their natural habitat and trying to show off each birds personalities. Aside from photographing birds, I also photograph nature and wild animals but have a focus on birds. All the animals and birds that I photograph are wild. Any animal I photograph I try to put as little stress on the animal as possible, if I sense or see that the animal knows that I am there and is not pleased by my presence than I leave the area. Thank you for stopping by, if you like what you see I have a personal website that can be found here : http://james-petersen.artistwebsites.com/. Thank you and have a...
