This photo was taken in Orono maine. I noticed a flock of Bohemian Waxwings eating the berries on the trees and started observing/photographing them. As I was observing them, I noticed they had started to come down to a puddle to drink water. At this point I moved until I had a clear view of the puddle and captured these three waxwings taking a drink.

I am James Petersen and I have been birdwatching for over 5 years. I have used my vast experience of birdwatching to transition to photographing birds in their natural habitat and trying to show off each birds personalities.
