This picture was taken at a rest stop on the highway while going to another birding site. This is a Boat-tailed Grackle, at the rest stop there was a large flock of them fighting each other for food, and I was lucky to notice this Grackle hanging by himself. I took this photo and than right after, he joined the other grackles in fighting over some food.
I am James Petersen and I have been birdwatching for over 5 years. I have used my vast experience of birdwatching to transition to photographing birds in their natural habitat and trying to show off each birds personalities. Aside from photographing birds, I also photograph nature and wild animals but have a focus on birds. All the animals and birds that I photograph are wild.
